The Bracelet
A Simple Idea with a Profound ImpactFueled by concerns about the effects of HIV/AIDS on the lives of their children, two California mothers were inspired to create a non-profit organization, the Until There’s A Cure® Foundation, in 1993.
The Foundation was the first non-profit organization to create and sell a bracelet to raise funds for a cause. The original bracelet was designed by Isabella Geddes of Florence, Italy in 1993 — a symbolic, simple, and elegant cuff-style bracelet. What distinguishes our Foundation from others seeking to help those affected by HIV/AIDS is that our primary source of financing for this effort is The Bracelet. In featuring The Bracelet, our goals are to unite people around the world in promoting compassion, understanding, and responsibility, as well as increasing awareness. |

Our product line has expanded to include many bracelets of different styles and materials, and all are priced from $5 to $150. Several of our bracelets provide a market for HIV+ craftspeople and support AIDS care and prevention in the developing world.
