What is Immunity Project?

Immunity Project is a non-profit initiative dedicated to developing an HIV vaccine. We hacked the HIV life cycle to develop a vaccine that gives you the same power as HIV controllers. With success in our clinical trials, our goal is to give our vaccine away to the world for free.

We are proud to be partners with Until There's A Cure®, a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization. 

Our Vaccine candidate is being designed to be:

SAFE

Unlike many other HIV vaccine prototypes, our vaccine does not contain killed viruses, live viruses, or genetically-modified viruses.

PORTABLE

Our vaccine is designed to not require refrigeration and to be delivered via nasal inhaler. These features solve key distribution challenges in countries with the highest HIV infection rates around the world.

NOVEL

We’ve reverse engineered the unique targeting capability of HIV controllers, identified their preferred targets on the HIV virus, and developed a unique way to deliver these targets to the human body. The goal of our vaccine design is to make everyone an HIV controller.

What’s Next?

We’ve made significant progress and are now ready to conduct a phase I human clinical trial in the United States and South Africa. We are raising $25 million to fund this work. With success in our clinical trials, we will give our vaccine away for free.
